By: Sebastian Prinz   (2016-02-15)

Cape Town is the ideal destination for any stills or film production, it’s true. When the day’s shoot is done, it’s also a pretty special place to be: there is so much more to enjoy than just the scenery, undeniably beautiful though that is. It’s a hip and happening city with a whole host of events throughout the year. We’ve picked just a few of them here to give you a taste. Feel free to ask us what else is happening on the dates when you are planning a Cape Town production. There’s bound to be plenty on!

Open Air Concerts and Movies

Kirstenbosch events imageSummer in the city is all about open air events, as the sun sets and the heat of the day eases. From October to April the weekly series of concerts in breathtakingly beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens, with a backdrop of Table Mountain, make for a magical evening out. http://www.sanbi.org/gardens/kirstenbosch/summer-concerts/
